About

Care for the person behind the parent.

Families prepare extensively for a baby — the nursery, the registry, the car seat. Far less attention goes to preparing for the parent’s recovery, rest, nourishment, and support. Apapacho exists to close that gap.

Apapacho is a word used in Mexico to describe giving someone affection, comfort, and care. For us, it represents the feeling of being genuinely supported and held.

We are making planning tools that help expecting parents and the people around them decide, in advance, who will bring meals, who will handle the household, who will check in, and what recovery should actually look like. We are building openly, and nothing is for sale yet.

Apapacho provides educational planning tools and is not a substitute for medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice.
